USE OF PROSTAGLANDIN E1 IN CURING ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

Prostaglandin E1, also known as Alprostadil used in the continuous treatment of erectile dysfunction. It also has vasolidatory properties. It is a very effective medication for recovering from many problems, especially sexual disorder.Treatment of erectile dysfunction caused by neurogenic, vasculogenic, psychogenic, or mixed etiology. Intracavernosalalprostadil( Caverject only) may be useful adjunct to other diagnostic tests in the diagnosis of erectile dysfunction.

DOSAGE ADVICE
The recommended dose of Prostaglandin E1 as treatment for erectile dysfunction has been reported to be 10 to 40 micrograms. However, adverse effects probably increase with increasing doses. A more appropriate starting dose is 2.5 micrograms with increments of 2.5 micrograms until the lowest effective dose is achieved. This approach may lessen the major impediments to prostaglandin E1 use, that is burning and pain.
